Katrina leads Optima Partners’ Hong Kong office. She was trained as a funds’ management lawyer and regulatory consultant with over 14 years’ experience advising on hedge fund and private equity fund managers with operations in Hong Kong and globally. She manages global asset management compliance monitoring programs, liaises with private and public equity managers, and coordinates cross-border regulatory projects including for Hong Kong and Mainland Chinese managers.

Before setting up Optima Partners in Hong Kong, Katrina was a lawyer in the fund management practice at Simmons & Simmons, established the Hong Kong office of Kinetic Partners (later acquired by Duff & Phelps) and served as the global Chief Compliance Officer of Roc Partners, a private equity fund manager focused on the Asia Pacific market. Katrina is admitted to practice law in New South Wales, Australia and is fluent in English, Mandarin, Cantonese, and Hokkien/Taiwanese.
